How about something a little different?

I’ve been doing background on a whole new story idea… what about a slightly futuristic situation where a state from the United States succeeds to become the first ‘Christian’ country in the 21st century?

A state that completely broke away from the ‘modern political machine’ to become an experiment… a modern attempt to be a ‘theocracy’, as in a government ruled by the Christian creed and understandings…?

The thing is, I would like to try an on-line ‘experiment’, and write this chapter-by-chapter ‘cold’… not pounding out drafts and revising-revising-revising…. blank computer screen, short chapters, post!

This could either be great fun, or a complete disaster.

Perhaps, something usable will come of this.

I DO have to acknowledge the great sci-fi author GREG BEAR for the seminal idea of a faith-based nation-state arising from the chaos and sharp divisions in the near-distant future. He used it as a side-trip in his two fictional adventures of QUEEN OF ANGELS and / (slant). Thanks, profe…
