[Disclaimer: this blog thread MAY seem like science fiction… since we’re gonna be talking about ‘aliens’ and ‘UFO’s’ and ‘close encounters of the alien kind’ stuff… but…]

Real stuff.
Welcome to the new series ‘My Alien Files 2026’.
Why do some deep-diving about Aliens? Simply put, this whole shoe-box of Alien stuff piling up since July 1947 is about to blow open in the culture.
We need to help people be ready to engage what will be hard to ignore.
Part of the ‘we’ that most concerns me is the Christian Church of the West. I’ll have a lot to sort through from the Christian community as this series is being written.
ALIEN!
On-line definition of ‘alien’: … foreign, strange, not native… wholly different in nature, completely unfamiliar…
Good start, especially related to… well, ‘Aliens’…
UAP’s
Oh, yes… in case you were unaware, ‘UFO’ isn’t the word anymore. Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs) is now the official term used by the federal government to describe what we all called UFO’s.
WWW DOT ALIENS
On May 8, 2026, the US Government creating on-line space for ‘disclosure’ of some previously-undisclosed ‘un-explained encounters’… the first installment being mainly blurry videos from the Military, NASA, etc.
May 22nd saw another major file-dump.
The US Government platform for ‘disclosure’ is up and running.
This website had over 340 million hits in the first 12 hours of go-live.
The 24/7, never-satisfied beast called the ‘News Cycle’ will amplify all-things ‘Alien’ in the coming months.
READY TO DROP
I’m going out on a limb, BUT there are numerous indications that a series of massive ‘Alien Disclosure’ events are about to unfold over the next 12 months, from ‘high-level’ governmental, scientific, and academic sources.
That’s outside of the soon-to-be-released media/entertainment stuff… Spielberg included…
‘My Alien Files 2026’ is an attempt to get ahead of the pitch.
THICK-FILMED
Major motion pictures are huge social influences. Yes, there have been Aliens in films and entertainment for over a century. There are a number of films, both ‘documentaries’ and ‘fiction-with-serious-tones’ that have dropped recently, and a couple more ‘monsters’ that will be released in 2026.
With ‘Disclosure’ as their major theme, it’s time to re-visit the Topic, and put aside the jokes about ‘little green men’ and engage.
My concern is that SciFi genre of books and films can’t be our foundation for thought-shaping.
EVENT SOCIOLOGIQUE
Most of all, I hope to be a small voice adding to The Conversation here, since major ‘Alien Disclosures’ has the potential to create serious freak-out amongst the general population.
Many people… governmental officials, psychologists, civic leaders, and [AND] Christian church leaders have strong feelings that ‘Alien Disclosure’ will result in seriously dysfunctional and negative emotional and behavioural reactions from a significant percentage of the human race…
… meaning, there’s a great deal of fear that ‘Alien Disclosure’ will trigger mass-hysteria, panic, violence, self-violence, and… and…
Current research has shown that around 80% of respondents ‘believe’ that Aliens are real, exist, and actually have been around Earth for a-while. This has prompted other leaders and culture-shapers to advocate for ‘full Disclosure’ in 2026.
As TV-science personality Neil deGrasse Tyson has recently written, “C’mon! Bring out the Alien!”
One thing for sure, a wide-scale ‘Alien Disclosure’ of 1947 to 2026 stuff will make for some interesting news cycles.
CHRISTIAN LEADERS SPEAKING OUT… AND…
The well-known Evangelical, Greg Laurie FB-posted on May 14, 2026 regarding this ‘incoming tide’ of Alien Disclosure,
“I believe that as Christians that we need to think carefully about this – because a lot of people aren’t. They’re just reacting. And reaction without reflection is a dangerous thing.”
Ignoring a lot of what he wrote after that… I couldn’t agree more with the quote.
The Christian Broadcasting Network [CBN] has dedicated a great deal of reporting and YouTube space to the un-furling ‘Alien Disclosure’. As well, Charisma magazine, and a number of prominent Christian bloggers and Pod-casters are cranking out on this.
This author/blogger is drafting some analysis and response to some of the significant space being occupied by these voices [future posts].
I will weigh in now that there has already been a great deal of posturing, inaccuracy, sloppy thinking and general ‘grab a headline’ journalism in the Christian sphere. CBN has recently released an expensive investment of theirs, a ‘docu-drama’ about Angels and Demons, and some of their reporting drives straight into promotion for their film.
Going forward, it is going to be really, really, really tough to NOT jump to theological conclusions mixed with pop-MAGA thinking about what the ‘Alien Disclosure’ should be seen as.
As of this writing [mid-May 2026], happily, all the Disclosures have been tame, previously-known, blurry-video and word-of-a-supposed-expert kind of stuff.
However, we’re getting the sandbags ready for the hurricane and coming flood.
